I loved the when they went to a club in the west end and Rodders pretended he was a pro tennis player.
This show definitely got better when Albert replaced Grandad.

Stage Fright and Tony Angelino's Cwying is my all-time favourite moment even if it's not the top episode overall.

Can't do a top 3 sorry and all that:
A touch of Glass - the chandelier A losing Streak - I've got one pair of aces Friday the 14th - escaped axe murderer Who's a pretty boy - the dead budgie To Hull and Back - the trip to Dam Tea for Three - Del hand gliding A royal Flush - higgy Higgins sawn off Dates - nervous nerys and racquel yuppy Love - that fall from the bar Chain Gang - the dodgy gold dealer The unlucky winner is - Marble Arch at dawn The Jolly boys outing - our coach has just blown up Stage Fright - kerrrying Heroes and villains - batman and robin Time on our hands - when they get all their dreams come true and where it should have all ended.
I've left out loads of others as well, my kids love them all too, a great sign that the humour is timeless.

1. Jolly Boys Outing Couldn't decide a 2 and 3 as too many to choose from.
Grandad and Albert. Very lucky that it worked after Leonard Peace died.
Del....

No one has mentioned the Class of '62 reunion organised by Roy Slater. My favourite episode.

Albert: It was 1946. We'd sailed into Hamburg to pick up some prisoners of war. Helga was working in a bar near the docks. She was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen - I fell in love with her the moment I saw her! The little finger on her right hand was missing.
Del: Caught her hand in the till did she?
Albert: No, she lost it when her home was bombed. Her entire family was wiped out!
Del: Oh! Sorry
Albert: I asked her to marry me. She said no! See I mistook her gestures of friendship as tokens of love! I suppose it was all for the best really. You see the authorities didn't like us fraternising with the Germans, and I was still married to yer Aunt Ada and she'd have kicked up a stink! It's funny you know, but even after all this time, if ever I'm watching a German war film and here the word 'nein' I always think of Helga!
Rodney: What, 'cos that's how many fingers she had?

Jolly Boys Chain Gang The Batman one can't remember what the episode was called.
Uncle Albert for me Trigger favourite character, definitely improved as programme went on. Favourite line was Del to Uncle Albert. "I don't believe you, not only have you sunk every ship you were ever on you've even managed to knacker the gravy boat". Or Trigger when queried how he managed to keep bumping his head on the mind your head sign at school "I know, but in those days I couldn't read".

You're right, the repeats should still be getting viewing figures of over 20 million.
Some people like stuff and some people don't. Once you've written something of the calibre of Only Fools and Horses you might have a point. It's on Gold every day, because people still watch it. Just like Steptoe and Son too.

Key phrase that
This programs has NOT aged well
Steptoe and son with its pathos and condemnation to eternal misery is far superior

Very Difficult
1) Jolly boys outing 2) Time on our hands 3 Little problems 4) Stage Fright 5) Chain Gang
I hate that the Original Grandad Lennard Pearce who gave so very much to the programme is not in my top 5. I bloody love only fools , Love it. R.I.P John Sullivan.
